What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, infallible in its original writings, 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter. 1:21.  

We believe in the oneness of God. One everlasting, eternal God, infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes, and purpose; in His absolute, indivisible deity that this one true God has revealed Himself as Father in creation; through His Son in redemption and as the Holy Spirit, by emanation. 1Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:6; 2Cor. 5:19; Joel 2:28 1 Timothy 3:16 

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. In the fullness of time God sent forth His Son made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law. Gal. 4:4.5. In Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Col. 2:9. That God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. 2Cor. 5:19. That no man can come unto the Father but by and through the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood. The Son of God is the only hope of the world. We believe that Jesus is God. I and my Father are one. St John 10:30. The man Christ Jesus is mediator between God and man. 1 Tim. 2:5. 1 Tim 3:16

We believe that in the beginning God created man innocent, pure and holy, but through the sin of disobedience, Adam fell: hence by one man's disobedience, sin entered into the world. Gen. 1:27; Rom.5:12. 

We believe in repentance to God, confessing ourselves as sinners, receiving forgiveness through the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood which made atonement for sin, witnessed by a definite change from sin to righteousness. Acts 17:30; 11:18; 2:38-39.  

We believe that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was made sin for us, dying in our form and stead rising again from the dead, ascending with His glorified body to the right hand of God, and by believing in the finished work, we are justified before God. Cleansed of all our sins and redeemed from the curse of the law. John 3:3; Rom. 5:1; Acts 13.39; 2Cor. 1 5:14-21; Gal. 2:16; 3:13; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; Tit. 2:14; Rev. 5:9

We believe that water baptism (total immersion) is for all believers, and should be administered in the Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST according to Acts. 2:38; 10:48; 19:5, fulfilling St. Matthew 28:19, and St. Mark 16:15-16.

The Lord's SupperWe believe that all followers of Christ should partake of the Communion or the Lord's Supper, in remembrance of His death until He comes again. Luke. 22:17-20; 1Cor. 11:23-34.

We believe in the practise of feet-washing as the Lord taught us showing our love towards each other, not only in tongue but also in deed. St. John. 13:2-17; 1Tim. 5:9-10

As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit (including healing) and the demonstration of His power are for the church today. (See Mark 12:28-31; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10.)

We believe that Jesus is coming to earth again in person.
